The Thesaurus definition of creativity is:
Originality, imagination, inspiration, ingenuity, inventiveness, resourcefulness, creativeness, vision and innovation.

Task:

Taking each of these words in turn, apply them to the pieces of coursework you have created at AS and A2. Create a mind map for each of your coursework pieces, justifying how you have demonstrated any of them.

How creative do you think you've been?

What has prevented you from being more creative?

Has a set menu of tasks made it easier to be creative or would you havepreferred a free choice on what you could make? Were you pinneddown too much by the task, or did it free you up to be creative withinthe boundaries of the task?

Creativity

What is Creativity?

Originality, imagination, inspiration, ingenuity, inventiveness, resourcefulness, creativeness, vision and innovation.

Inspiration
We used inspiration in both our AS coursework and our A2 coursework, both for the same research and planning section, however we just looked at different pieces of work to get different inspiration. For our AS coursework we mainly got our inspiration from photographs of celebritys from magazines and photoshoots, we also looked into different types of photoshop editing. However for our A2 coursework we looked more at music video and artists work for inspiration, we still did look at images to get ideas for fashion and make-up.

Imagination
We used our imagination in our AS coursework when decided on how to edit our photographs, where to take them and how to position everything on the page to make the layout look good and presentable. We used imagination in our A2 music video by deciding firstly on our storyboard after looking at reserach, we then used it again when deciding where to film and how to put it all together on editing software.

Originality
Originality was used in our AS coursework with certain aspects such as thinking of the titles for our magazines, it was also used again with the photos with deciding how to have them and where to take them. For our A2 coursework we used originality with thinking of the artists name and how we wanted her to be portayed to our target audiance.

A brief descripton of my coursework

At AS we were asked to produce a magazine cover, contents page and a double page spread. The target audiance for my work was teenage girls 13-19, the genre was mainstream music. For the evaluation we were asked seven questions, throughtout this whole process we used blogger to record all of our work.
At A2 we were asked to produce a music video of around three minutes long and also a digipak. The target audiance for this was audiances interested in soft rock music and our artist as a fashion icon. To evaluate our product we answered four questions using a couple of different technologys and again recorded this work on blogger since the beginning.
